at the close of every day (with lowercase letters) is a Dutch band consisting of Minco Eggersman (drums and vocals) and Axel Kabboord (guitar). During performances the band is accompanied by bassist Audiotransparent Bart Looman (until 2006 by the Dane Jan-Erik Stig).
The music can be described as a mix of melancholic pop and emo, summarized in the term 'night music', or 'Hollandia' (as in: Americana). Many of the numbers at the close of every day have a Christian undertone, although not explicitly.
